Book Signing at the Central Arkansas Women's Expo!
I'll be at the State Fair Grounds with a bunch of other authors on Saturday, August 15 from 11-3 and Sunday, August 16 from 12-3! There's a panel at 11 to hear about publishing and then I'll be signing books the rest of the time. A MOVIE!!!!
Okay, y'all, this is a thriller, and I had to wait to tell folks, but now I can. I got to shadow on the set of Jeff Nichols' new movie - KING SNAKE! I followed around the Sound Department and the Script Supervisor and I learned SO MUCH. It was an incredible experience, and I can't thank the Arkansas Cinema Society enough for making it happen.
A Book Launch
I'm feeling terribly guilty about waiting so long to share this one (but you can blame the set shadow, and that I had a kid graduate, and summer for my lateness). I was delighted to have a great turnout for the relaunch of LIFE, MOTHERHOOD & THE PURSUIT OF THE PERFECT HANDBAG!

Three Things I Love...
A skirt
And for once in my life it's not from Boden. I was trying to find the perfect white skirt for the book event and I found it at Quince and I am a big old fan.
We just came back from a family vacation to Michigan and Wisconsin, and they don't call those lakes great for nothing. Promise me someday you'll go see them. I highly recommend Suttons Bay and Munising, Michigan and Bayfield, Wisconsin.
